Alongside

Why has drawing remained alongside sculpture?

Alongside sculpture, drawing has always remained present. Not as a definitive project, but as a note, an intuition, a thought in motion. The mark on paper is rapid, light, often incomplete, and precisely for this reason essential.

In drawing, form does not assert itself, it suggests. It is a space of freedom in which gesture precedes matter and accompanies it, without ever replacing it. A silent, necessary place that continues to nourish the three-dimensional work.
