The sculpture Maternity was acquired through a public competition by Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento. The work addresses the theme of birth and care through an essential, inward form, in which the figure is not described but suggested.
The composition develops through compact masses and continuous surfaces, avoiding any direct narrative reference. Maternity is not represented as an image, but as a presence: a body that receives, protects, and sustains.
Placed within a space of care, the work enters into dialogue with the time of waiting and with human fragility, offering a moment of stillness and silence within the hospital experience.
